Nagpur: The spirit of compassion, cooperation, respect and service came alive at a special edition of ‘Ubhartे Sitare’ (Emerging Stars), an initiative of the Vidarbha Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, organised at the Utkarsh Hall of Hindi Mor Bhavan. Centred on the inspiring theme of ‘Sadbhavana’ (Harmony and Goodwill), the programme brought together children, parents, artists and literary enthusiasts for an evening of meaningful thoughts, music, dance and cultural expression.
The programme sought to convey an important message to the younger generation—that kindness, mutual respect, cooperation and a spirit of service can make society stronger and more humane. Addressing the children and their parents, special guest Surendra Rishi Masram, retired Deputy Director, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, and a well-known lyricist and singer, emphasised the importance of compassion and support from family in shaping an individual’s journey.
Reflecting on his own experience, Masram said that the encouragement and efforts of parents play an important role in nurturing a child’s talent and helping young people reach greater heights.
At the beginning of the programme, co-coordinator Vaishali Madare presented the theme of Sadbhavana through thoughtful and inspiring remarks. This was followed by vibrant musical and dance performances by the participating children. Bhavya Arora presented her thoughts on goodwill through songs, while Ram Bagal captivated the audience with an engaging combination of song, poetry and dance.
The performances received warm appreciation from parents and distinguished attendees, including Meenakshi Keserwani, Mamta Mule, Priti Abhijit Bagal, Mohan Khanna, Ranjana Deshmukh, Vedprakash Arora, Chandrasen Patil, Rupkishor Kanojia, Dharmendra Patil, Ashish Gupta, Subhash Dapurkar, K. N. Bais and Yuvan Nalamwar, among others.
The programme was supported by Prashant Shambharkar, while Vaishali Madare conducted the event with confidence and coordination. Yuvraj Chaudhary, the convenor, proposed the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to all the children, artists, parents and spectators whose enthusiastic participation made the programme meaningful and memorable.
The event successfully demonstrated how culture, creativity and positive values can come together to inspire young minds and promote the message of harmony and goodwill in society.
