Kuldhar Das Scholars Summit 2026: Celebrating Inquiry, Innovation and Young Minds

The second edition of the Kuldhar Das Scholars Summit 2026 was successfully organized at Modern English School, Kahilipara, Guwahati, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, intellectual curiosity and holistic education. Held in memory of the school’s visionary founder, Late Kuldhar Das, the one-day summit reflected his educational philosophy, established with the founding of the school in 1984, which emphasized both intellectual growth and character development.

The summit brought together enthusiastic and talented students from leading schools across the region, providing a vibrant platform for research, critical thinking, dialogue and exchange of ideas. The programme featured three intellectually stimulating competitions—Panel Discussion on “Codification versus Pluralism,” Paper Presentation on “The Architecture of Modern Inflation,” and Symposium on “Epistemology, Media and the Post-Truth Era.” The topics encouraged participants to examine contemporary legal, economic, social and technological challenges through evidence-based analysis and original perspectives.

The competitions were adjudicated by distinguished academics—Dr. Pankaj Jyoti Gogoi, Dr. Chandra Prabha Bora and Dr. Muktikam Hazarika—whose insightful observations and constructive feedback enriched the learning experience of the participants.

Students from seven prominent schools participated enthusiastically, transforming the summit into a meaningful forum for healthy competition, collaboration and academic exchange. The event culminated in an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding performances across the three competitions, while certificates of participation were presented to all students.

The summit concluded with an inspiring message from Director Pankaj Das, encouraging students to pursue knowledge, ask questions, think independently and remain committed to lifelong learning. The successful second edition has further strengthened Modern English School’s vision of nurturing confident, inquisitive and responsible young citizens equipped to engage thoughtfully with an increasingly complex world.
