Ravindra Jadeja became Chennai Super Kings’ top IPL wicket-taker in Match 57 of IPL 2025. Jadeja surpassed Dwayne Bravo to achieve this milestone with his first and only wicket against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens. He also reached 150 T20 wickets for CSK, making him a key player for the team.
Jadeja overtook Bravo in IPL wickets for CSK, with 141 wickets in 184 games at an average of 28.41 (4W: 3 and 5W: 1), while Bravo ended with 140 wickets from 116 matches at 22.47. CSK’s bowlers with 100-plus wickets are limited to these two.
Jadeja recently achieved 150 wickets for CSK in T20 cricket, making him the second player after Bravo (154) to reach this milestone. Ashwin is another player in the 100-plus wickets club for the team.
Jadeja has been vital for Chennai Super Kings since his 2012 debut, achieving milestones as the second all-rounder with 100 wickets and 2,000 runs in the IPL. He also holds the record as the first player in IPL history to reach 3,000 runs and 100 wickets.
Jadeja, debuting in the first IPL season, has taken 168 wickets in 252 matches at an average of 30.61. He also made 3,219 runs including 5 fifties.
