In a strange incident in Pallickal village, Kerala, an elderly man filed a complaint against his neighbor’s rooster for disturbing his sleep with early morning crowing at 3:00am. Radhakrishna Kurup, who is unwell, brought the case to the Adoor Revenue Divisional Office (RDO) due to the constant noise.
The RDO launched a serious investigation into Kurup’s complaint. Both Kurup and his neighbor, Anil Kumar, were summoned for discussions, and officials inspected the site. It was confirmed that Kumar’s noisy roosters on the upper floor of his house were troubling Kurup.
After confirming the noise issue, the RDO directed Kumar to relocate his poultry shed to the southern side of his property. This aimed to minimize noise disturbance for Kurup, giving Kumar a 14-day deadline for the move to restore Kurup’s peace and comfort.
