ACB considers action against Kejriwal, AAP leaders for poaching allegations.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau in Delhi is considering legal action against AAP leaders, like Kejriwal, Ahlawat, and Singh. This comes after they didn’t respond to notices regarding BJP’s alleged attempt to lure AAP MLAs before the Delhi election. Kejriwal claimed that 16 AAP MLAs were offered ₹15 crore each to switch to the BJP.

On February 7, the ACB sent notices to Ahlawat and Kejriwal regarding poaching and bribery allegations. They were asked to provide information on the 16 AAP MLAs who were allegedly offered bribes and their related tweets.

In the run-up to the election, Kejriwal accused the BJP of offering ₹15 crore to each AAP MLA to switch sides. He mentioned that some sources predicted the BJP winning over 55 seats. Within two hours, 16 AAP candidates were approached with offers to join the BJP, promising ministerial positions and a payment of ₹15 crore each.

The BJP denied the charges. The ACB views this matter seriously and seeks evidence for the bribery claims. If AAP leaders do not respond, ACB may involve Delhi Police for legal action. – As per ANI sources.
