Why is BMW's new scooter priced at ₹11.5L? What features set it apart?

BMW Motorrad launched the 2025 C 400 GT maxi-scooter in India at ₹11.5 lakh, ₹25,000 more than its predecessor. The new model features a redesigned windscreen and lower seat height for better accessibility. Imported vehicles in India face high import duties, significantly raising the final price of the BMW C 400 GT.

The 2025 BMW C 400 GT has an Exclusive variant with golden alloy wheels, brake calipers, and graphics, including an embroidered emblem on the seat. It also comes with a tinted windscreen, floor lighting with BMW logo projection, and stainless-steel floorboard inserts, available for an extra cost over the standard trim price.

The 2025 BMW C 400 GT boasts lean-sensitive ABS Pro, Dynamic Brake Control, Dynamic Traction Control, Engine Drag Torque Control. Additionally, it includes a 10.25-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth, USB-C port. Its storage has been greatly expanded, offering a 37.6-liter underseat space, larger front compartment, and boot space.

The 2025 BMW C 400 GT features a 350cc liquid-cooled engine producing 33.5hp at 7,500rpm and 35Nm torque at 5,750rpm. It holds up to 12.8 liters of fuel and weighs 214kg. The scooter has 15-inch alloy wheels with telescopic forks and preload-adjustable dual springs.
