US launches new airstrikes on Yemen’s capital and other provinces.

In Sanaa, US airstrikes wounded nine people, including seven women and two children, targeting a building under construction, damaging nearby structures, and injuring civilians in an adjacent building, as per reports from Xinhua news agency citing Houthi-run al-Masirah TV.

Wednesday’s strikes included a second US attack in the area since Saturday, following raids that killed 53 people and wounded 98, as reported by Houthi health authorities. Al-Masirah also noted strikes on regions like Saada, al-Bayda, Hodeidah, and al-Jawf. The Houthis, controlling northern Yemen, claimed launching cruise missiles at USS Harry Truman in the Red Sea, their fourth such attack in 72 hours.

The group targets only Israeli-linked vessels to pressure Israel to stop its Gaza offensive and permit humanitarian aid into Gaza. The US military started strikes on Houthi targets to safeguard international shipping lanes. President Trump cautioned the Houthis to stop attacks or deal with severe repercussions, proclaiming, “Hell will rain upon you like never before.”

On Wednesday, Yemen’s Houthi group targeted the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier in the Red Sea for the fourth time in 72 hours. The operation, using cruise missiles and drones, aimed to prevent a perceived US air attack, according to Houthi spokesperson Yahya Sarea.
