Apple is adding advanced AI to Vision Pro in the visionOS 2.4 update. Enhancements feature current Apple Intelligence plus a new ‘Create Memory Movie.’ This new feature, tailored for the headset, enhances its uniqueness for memory recollection.
The Photos app on Vision Pro has a ‘Create Memory Movie’ feature. Just provide a description or voice prompt and Apple’s AI finds the matching photo or video. The resulting “memory movie” can be viewed on a virtual screen or environment for enhanced reminiscing.
The visionOS 2.4 update will introduce AI writing tools, including ChatGPT for the Vision Pro, enabling tasks like dictating memos/emails, creating summaries, and adjusting draft tone. Smart replies in visionOS will facilitate quick message responses via Apple Intelligence.
The upcoming update will include Genmoji and Image Playground for generating images from user prompts. Vision Pro users will receive priority notifications, summaries, and Image Wand for refining sketches. Additionally, the Photos app will support natural language search to enhance image browsing.
The visionOS 2.4 update, featuring Apple Intelligence, is currently in developer beta and will be released to the public in April, initially supporting only US English. More languages and features are expected later this year. It includes enhancements such as an upgraded Guest Mode and two new discovery apps for easy content exploration on the iPhone and within the headset.
