The US allows visa-free entry for citizens of 41 countries for a 90-day period.

The US offers a Visa Waiver Program (VWP) for citizens of 41 countries, allowing visa-free entry for up to 90 days for tourism and business. Travelers must get Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) approval online through US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to check VWP eligibility.

Countries with visa-free status under VWP include Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Chile, Croatia, Czech Rep., Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Nether., New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, San Marino, S. Korea, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switz., Taiwan, UK.

Certain exceptions to the VWP mandate pre-travelers from some of these countries to obtain a prior visa. This applies to individuals who have visited or been in North Korea, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, or Yemen after March 1, 2011. Also, travelers to Cuba after January 12, 2021, and those holding dual citizenship with Cuba, North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Sudan, or Syria fall under this policy.
