Aston Martin introduced the 2026 Vanquish Volante, its top model yet. This convertible, a variant of the earlier coupe release this year, will have limited yearly production under 1,000 units for both models. With a remarkable top speed of 345 km/h, the Volante stands out as Aston Martin’s fastest convertible.
The Aston Martin Vanquish Volante and its coupe counterpart both share an 823hp, 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine. This powertrain, designed for the flagship models, provides peak torque between 2,000 and 5,000rpm, resulting in impressive performance with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 3.4 seconds.
The Vanquish Volante’s power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF eight-speed transaxle. It includes an electronically controlled rear differential to boost agility in low and medium-speed corners and improve high-speed control. Specifically tuned Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers handle the convertible’s added weight for optimal on-road performance.
The new Vanquish Volante shares a design with its coupe counterpart, maintaining elegance with a grille expanded by over 13%. Its K-fold soft top opens in 14 seconds, closes in 16 seconds, and can be operated via a key fob, even at speeds up to 50km/h to combat sudden rain.
The Aston Martin Vanquish Volante boasts a similar interior to the coupe, featuring a two-seat setup with manual controls for essential driver functions. It is equipped with dual 10.3-inch digital displays handling infotainment and gauges. Interested buyers can place orders for the Vanquish Volante now, with initial deliveries planned for Q3 2025. While pricing details have not been disclosed, the starting price is estimated to be around $500,000 (approximately ₹4.3 crore).
