Swiggy Instamart will introduce a dedicated 'Cooperative' category.

The Ministry of Cooperation collaborates with Swiggy Instamart to enhance online presence and sales of cooperative dairy products. The MoU was signed by Amitesh Jha, CEO of Swiggy Instamart, and D K Verma, Joint Secretary. Cooperation Secretary Ashish Kumar Bhutani also attended the signing.

The MoU between Bharat Organics and Swiggy will bring their products to Swiggy’s platforms, providing a boost to online sales. The Ministry of Cooperation stated that this collaboration will help cooperatives reach new customers through modern technology, enhancing visibility and sales.

As part of the partnership, Swiggy will introduce a “Cooperative” category featuring organic products, dairy items, millets, handicrafts, and more from cooperative organizations. The collaboration will support these brands with marketing, promotion, consumer tech, and capacity building.

In alignment with the UN’s declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Cooperation, Swiggy and the Ministry aim to raise awareness about cooperatives in India through a campaign. This will enhance public understanding of cooperatives, amplifying their presence in the market.
