Sneh Rana and Amanjot Kaur shone in India’s 97-run victory against Sri Lanka in the 2025 WODI Tri-Nation Series final. The Women in Blue defended 342 successfully at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. Rana and Amanjot took seven wickets together, with Rana achieving a career-best four-wicket haul against Sri Lanka in WODI.
In the match, Amanjot got an early wicket by removing Hasini Perera and later broke a 68-run partnership by dismissing Vishmi Gunaratne, then Rana took out both Chamari Athapaththu and Harshitha Samarawickrama. Rana continued her success by dismissing Nilakshi de Silva, Anushka Sanjeewani, and Malki Madara while giving away 38 runs in 9.2 overs. Amanjot finished with figures of 3 wickets for 54 runs in 8 overs.
Rana achieved her best bowling figures against Sri Lanka in WODIs and now has 14 wickets in just six matches against them, averaging 12.64. Overall, she has taken 44 wickets in 32 WODIs at 27.47, including her third four-plus wicket haul. She also has a five-wicket haul to her credit.
Seamer Amanjot, with nine wickets in seven WODIs at an average of 28.33, achieved a four-wicket haul. She debuted in WODIs in July 2023.
