Schneider Electric plans to establish three new factories in India.

Schneider Electric is planning to establish three new manufacturing plants in Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Ahmednagar, as part of its growing investment in India. The company’s CEO, Olivier Blum, revealed that they already operate 31 manufacturing units across the country.

At the Elecrama 2025 event, Blum highlighted leveraging AI and digitization for growth in India’s energy sector. Advanced technologies like digital grids, IoT, microgrids, and smart cities aim to cut emissions by 75% in 25 years. India is a key market for Schneider’s global expansion, with plans to invest Rs 3,200 crore by 2026, supporting job creation and sustainable development.
