Bhushan highlighted Madhubala’s legacy, praising her courage and dedication as an artist. She emphasized Madhubala’s warmth, courage, and artistic commitment. Bhushan also mentioned Madhubala’s resilience in battling a congenital heart condition that caused her death at 36. Despite doctors predicting only one year left to live, Madhubala worked for eight more years.
Bhushan praised Reen’s storytelling and the biopic’s potential to capture Madhubala’s spirit, expressing admiration for Jasmeet’s modern approach to preserving the story’s essence. She highlighted Madhubala’s classics like Mughal-e-Azam and Tarana, hoping they are featured in the film.
Although the film has not reached the casting stage, Bhushan shared her actor preferences for Madhubala, citing Kareena Kapoor Khan as a favored choice. Bhushan respects the director’s final decision in selecting the most fitting actor for the role.
