The creators of upcoming film Thug Life marked actor Silambarasan TR’s 41st birthday by revealing a new poster. It depicts Silambarasan in a sleek and stylish look, suggesting a powerful action role in the Mani Ratnam movie, set to release in June 2025, starring Kamal Haasan too.
Silambarasan and Haasan lead Thug Life with Trisha Krishnan, Jayam Ravi, Gautham Karthik, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Joju George. Silambarasan’s character remains mysterious, portrayed as the “new thug in town” in an official teaser driving a Border Patrol vehicle in Rajasthan’s deserts.
Silambarasan has a busy 2025 schedule with back-to-back projects. He will be shooting with directors Ramkumar Balakrishnan and Ashwath Marimuthu. A new poster was released for his collaboration with Balakrishnan. STR is also set to work on a film with Desingh Periyasamy, possibly retitled as STR 50. Fans are eager to see which film will release first.
