Former U.S. President Joe Biden (82) re-signed with Hollywood’s Creative Artists Agency (CAA) after an eight-year hiatus, shaping his post-presidency plans. CAA officially confirmed the news on Tuesday. Biden’s prior tenure with CAA, during his vice presidency in the Obama administration, involved the publication of his successful memoir “Promise Me, Dad” and a noteworthy tour.
Formerly with CAA, Biden’s 42-date American Promise tour sold 85,000+ tickets nationwide. He discussed his memoir, centered on son Beau’s cancer battle and his tour experiences, which laid the foundation for his 2020 White House campaign success.
Biden’s CAA ties could lead to lucrative opportunities. His past stint at the agency saw his earnings jump significantly, reaching over $15 million in two years, driven by his bestseller and appearances. Hunter Biden is pursuing CAA prospects while being filmed for a project financed by attorney Kevin Morris.
CAA, a top talent agency, represents stars like Ariana Grande, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, and Zendaya. The agency was bought by French billionaire Francois Pinault’s Artemis in 2023. Co-chair Richard Lovett expressed honor working with Biden, highlighting his influential role in national and global affairs.
CAA’s client list includes Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground Productions, along with politicians such as Joe Manchin, Susan Rice, and Beto O’Rourke. Biden’s upcoming projects with CAA are unknown. Despite leaving office after a long career, Biden has assured supporters that he remains committed to the cause.
