Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran has joined Al-Nassr for £64m, now playing with Ronaldo and Mane. Duran, in great form with 12 goals, was allowed to leave Villa. The deal, valued at £77m, marks a significant increase from the £15m Villa paid for his transfer. Arsenal failed to acquire Ollie Watkins.
Duran had 78 appearances and scored 20 goals for Villa, including 10 with his left foot. He netted 7 goals in 20 Premier League games in 2024/25, adding 3 in the Champions League and 2 in the League Cup. He had 58 shots in the Premier League, with 24 on target and 9 big chances missed.
After Duran left, Aston Villa seeks replacements. President Monchi eyes Joao Felix, Marco Asensio, and Marcus Rashford. Villa’s interest confirmed on Spanish TV.
