The NTA announced the JEE Mains 2025 Paper 1 results. 24 candidates achieved a perfect score. The exam had two sessions in January and April, with over 15 lakh unique candidates. It was held globally in different languages and locations.
In the group of 24 students with perfect scores, Rajasthan had the most toppers at seven, followed by Maharashtra and Telangana with four each, then Uttar Pradesh with three. West Bengal had two, while Gujarat, Delhi, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh each had one. Among these toppers, two were female candidates: Devdutta Majhi from West Bengal and Sai Manogna Guthikonda from Andhra Pradesh.
The percentile cut-offs for JEE Advanced 2025 varied by category. UR required 93.10 percentile, while EWS and OBC-NCL needed 80.38 and 79.43, respectively. SC and ST thresholds were 61.15 and 47.90, and PwBD in UR was around 0.0079 percentile.
To uphold integrity and fairness, NTA employed strict security measures for JEE Mains 2025, including AI video analytics, live CCTV monitoring, biometric attendance, and 5G jammers. Despite these efforts, 110 candidates’ results were withheld for cheating, with 23 more facing holds for identity verification issues.
