The only 21st-century Test victory at Headingley was in 2002. Kohli led India to their win at The Oval in 2021 after over 50 years.
Only three Indian captains have won a Test at Lord’s. Kapil did it first in 1986, with Dhoni in 2014 and Kohli in 2021.
In England, Kohli is the top Indian captain in runs, with 868 at an average of 45.68, followed by Dhoni with 569 runs. Kohli, along with Mohammad Azharuddin, is one of two Indian captains to have scored multiple Test centuries in England, both having two centuries each.
