India's February GST collections increase by 9.1%.

India’s GST collections for February surged by 9.1% to ₹1.84 lakh crore, marking the 12th consecutive month above ₹1.7 lakh crore. This consistent growth reflects a steady rise in tax revenue for the country.

In February, gross GST revenue saw a significant rise with domestic revenues growing by 10.2% to ₹1.42 lakh crore, and import revenues increasing by 5.4% to ₹41,702 crore. This combined growth showcases India’s economic resilience amidst global challenges.

In February, CGST was ₹35,204 crore, SGST was ₹43,704 crore, IGST was ₹90,870 crore, and compensation cess was ₹13,868 crore, totaling significant collections.

In February, GST refunds totaled ₹20,889 crore, showing a significant 17.3% rise compared to the previous year. Net GST collections for the month increased by 8.1%, reaching about ₹1.63 lakh crore. Overall, this data highlights the positive trend in India’s recent tax revenue generation.
