Lexus has introduced the updated LX 500d in India for ₹3 crore. Unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, this luxury SUV comes with various enhancements, including new styling and additional features. It is offered in two versions: the LX 500d Urban and the LX 500d Overtrail.
The standard LX 500d Urban variant costs ₹3 crore, while the new Overtrail variant is priced at ₹3.12 crore (ex-showroom). Tanmay Bhattacharya, Lexus India’s Executive Vice-President, emphasized the brand’s luxury and performance focus, stating that the vehicle reflects their commitment to unrivaled excellence. The updated model offers a remarkable blend of sophistication and driving pleasure.
The 2025 Lexus LX 500d is the only diesel option in the brand’s lineup, featuring a 3.3-liter V6 diesel engine generating 304hp at 4,000rpm and up to 700Nm of torque between 1,600-2,600rpm. Paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, it delivers smooth performance on various terrains.
The updated model features the new Lexus Safety System+3.0 suite with advanced driver assistance features such as pre-collision system, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Trace Assist, Blindspot monitoring, Safe Exit Assist, Lane Departure Assist, and auto high beam. It also includes Lexus Connected Technology for SOS call alerts, roadside assistance, and remote capabilities.
