Social media personality Hindustani Bhau demanded an apology from Farah Khan within 2 weeks for comments made on a cooking show. Bhau clarified that he had filed a police complaint, not an FIR, following a previous dispute. Farah allegedly referred to Holi as the “Festival of cchapris” on ‘Laughter Chefs’.
On Saturday, he addressed the media questioning a statement made on a reality show that labeled Holi as a festival only for a certain group. He questioned whether it was appropriate to use such terms, emphasizing that Holi is celebrated by various people, including influential figures like Prime Minister Modi and countless others in India.
He mentioned that insulting Sanatan Dharma isn’t new for Bollywood, as they have consistently portrayed Hindu Dharma and deities negatively in their films. It has been a recurring pattern from the inception of Bollywood to present Hindu culture in a derogatory manner.
“They presented it as filth in front of people, shielded by their power, money, and influence. However, today, Hindustani Bhau is here to confront them legally and personally. An application has been filed against them at Khar Police Station to seek swift prosecution and justice,” he added.
