The new web series, “Made in India – A Titan Story,” starring Naseeruddin Shah and Jim Sarbh, will premiere on Amazon MX Player. It follows Titan Company’s journey from 1984 inception to a top Indian consumer brand in six episodes.
In Made in India – A Titan Story, Shah portrays industrialist Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata, while Sarbh plays Xerces Desai, the first managing director of Titan Company who helped establish the company. The series explores how these two men collaborated in the 1980s to build an empire with groundbreaking products.
The series, based on Vinay Kamath’s book Titan: Inside India’s Most Successful Consumer Brand, is produced by Almighty Motion Picture and T-Series Films, directed by Robbie Grewal. It depicts the brand’s journey from challenges to success, featuring key moments in Indian watchmaking history including the world’s thinnest watch and Titan’s ascent. Karan Vyas has penned the script.
