Idli Kadai’s executive producer confirmed during the NEEK audio launch that they are still aiming for an April 10 release, despite ongoing rumors. Dhanush, the director, is currently occupied with filming and was unable to attend the event. This update suggests that the production is proceeding as planned, with potential delays attributed to external factors.
Arun Vijay, also in Idli Kadai, expressed excitement for working under Dhanush’s direction again post Raayan. He shot with Dhanush recently, including a song shoot. At NEEK’s audio launch, he mentioned his desire to act under Dhanush’s brother’s direction, feeling pleased that it came true in Idli Kadai.
Dhanush has exciting projects aside from Idli Kadai, including Kubera with Rashmika Mandanna and Nagarjuna, and an untitled film with director Rajkumar Periasamy. The first look of Vijay opposite Dhanush in Idli Kadai was recently released.
