Coldplay has set a new record for having the most people come to their concerts on a music tour!

The British rock band Coldplay, led by Chris Martin, has set a new world record for the most people attending a music tour. They did this with their Music of the Spheres World Tour, breaking the previous record held by Taylor Swift during her The Eras Tour. However, Taylor Swift’s tour still made the most money, earning $2 billion. Coldplay’s concerts in Mumbai and Ahmedabad, India, helped them achieve this record. According to Guinness World Records, during the weekend of January 25 and 26, they had the biggest stadium show in Ahmedabad, with more than 223,000 fans coming to see them over those two nights. On January 26 alone, 134,000 people attended, which was their largest crowd ever. So far, they’ve sold over 10.3 million tickets, and there are still eight months left in their tour!

Before their big concert in Ahmedabad, Coldplay’s largest audience was in Sydney, Australia, where 83,000 fans came to see them. In India, the biggest crowds before Coldplay were for singers Diljit Dosanjh and Justin Bieber, each attracting 50,000 fans. There’s also a claim that Honey Singh’s concert in Haldia had 200,000 attendees, but this number was never officially confirmed. Coldplay, a popular British rock band led by Chris Martin, has set a new record for having the most people attend their concerts during their ongoing tour. However, they want everyone to know that they haven’t beaten the record for the largest crowd at a single concert. They recognized that Italian singer Vasco Rossi had a concert in 2017 that had 225,000 fans, and Sir Rod Stewart had a huge concert in 1994 with 3.5 million people in attendance.
