BMW launches Z4 M40i roadster priced at ₹97L. Explore top features.

BMW has introduced the Z4 M40i Pure Impulse edition in India, priced from ₹96.9 lakh (ex-showroom). This limited-edition CBU roadster is the M Performance variant of the Z4 and notably includes a manual gearbox option launched for the first time in India.

The BMW Z4 M40i Pure Impulse edition is sold at different prices based on the transmission. The automatic costs ₹96.9 lakh, while the manual is ₹97.9 lakh (ex-showroom). This edition offers Frozen Deep Green and Sanremo Green paint options, alongside Vernasca Cognac leather upholstery with unique stitching, exclusive to the manual version.

The BMW Z4 M40i Pure Impulse edition grabs attention with its distinct kidney grille and LED headlights. Its long bonnet spans over the wheel arches, and the soft-top opens and closes in 10 seconds. The rear showcases slim L-shaped LED lights, accompanied by updated chassis technology and striking 19-/20-inch M Light alloy wheels with red M Sport brake calipers.

The BMW Z4 M40i Pure Impulse edition features ambient lighting, 2-zone air conditioning, electrically adjustable seats with memory, and optional equipment like lumbar support, M seatbelts, adaptive LED headlights, high beam assist, driving assistant, mirror package, Harman Kardon sound system, parking assistant, and head-up display.

The BMW Z4 M40i Pure Impulse edition features BMW ConnectedDrive with Live Cockpit Professional and Operating System 7.0, including a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster in a hexagonal frame and a high-resolution touchscreen display. Safety includes front/side airbags, ABS with brake assist, stability control with cornering brake control, side-impact protection, and an electronic vehicle immobilizer.

The BMW Z4 M40i Pure Impulse edition features a powerful third-gen three-liter six-cylinder engine producing 340hp and 500Nm torque. It accelerates from 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds with manual transmission and 4.5 seconds with automatic. The manual has a six-speed, while the automatic is an eight-speed Steptronic Sport gearbox.
