Audi revealed its new Q3 SUV, the third generation, which has globally sold over two million units, establishing it as a core model. The latest version now offers mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains for improved performance and efficiency. The 2025 Audi Q3 features a strong exterior design with highlights such as a broad Singleframe grille, sleek LED headlights, and an athletic shoulder line, enhancing its overall appearance.
The new Q3 model boasts aerodynamic enhancements, achieving a low drag coefficient of 0.3. Audi has added digital OLED taillights and acoustic glazing to enhance cabin peace. The compact SUV comes equipped with digital Matrix LED headlights utilizing advanced micro-LED technology for precise lighting and adaptive features, setting new standards in the industry.
Internally, the Q3 showcases Audi’s “digital stage” with an 11.9-inch driver’s display and a 12.8-inch infotainment touchscreen powered by Android Automotive OS. It features the AI-powered Audi Assistant, responds to voice commands, offers upholstery from recycled materials like polyester and Econyl, and can be equipped with an optional Sonos premium sound system for excellent audio quality.
The Q3 lineup includes a TFSI 1.5L mild-hybrid (150hp) with cylinder deactivation, a TDI diesel (150hp) for efficiency, and a plug-in hybrid (Q3 e-hybrid) with 272hp. The plug-in version offers a 119km electric range and supports 50kW DC fast charging for an 80% capacity in under 30 minutes. Audi upgraded the suspension with options like adaptive dampers and progressive steering for improved handling.
The 2025 Audi Q3 features advanced driver-assist systems like adaptive cruise with lane-change assist, emergency assist for unresponsive drivers, trained parking, digital rearview mirror, and 360-degree cameras. International orders open in summer 2025, with deliveries beginning in October.
