Akshay Kumar fans can catch a sneak peek of his new film, Kesari: Chapter 2, in advance of its April 18 launch. Special screenings in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Chandigarh are organized by the producers. Fans must register from Monday, April 14, as announced by the makers.
The first Kesari film, released in 2019, focused on the Battle of Saragarhi, while its sequel, Kesari: Chapter 2, highlights the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. At the trailer launch, Kumar shared his personal connection, mentioning his father’s birthplace near Jallianwala Bagh, where his grandfather witnessed the tragedy, emphasizing the story’s significance to him.
The film features R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday, directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Kumar stars in the film, alongside Amit Sial and Regina Cassandra. Following Kesari 2, Kumar will be seen in Jolly LLB 3, Welcome to the Jungle, and Hera Pheri 3 next.
