BMW will host the BMW M Drift Academy in India on April 26-27 at Raymonds Compound, JK Gram, Thane West. This event is a unique opportunity for car enthusiasts to learn drifting safely and master the art in a controlled environment.
The BMW M Drift Academy, under the #DriftResponsibly campaign, offers a controlled learning environment for drifting with a safety and precision focus, and is supported by Vikram Pawah, President and CEO of BMW Group, India. The two-day course combines classroom learning with practical on-track sessions.
Participants at the BMW M Drift Academy learn various drifting skills like throttle control, initiating and maintaining drifts, both half-circle and full-circle drifts in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions, and transition drifting on figure-eight layouts. BMW-certified instructors will provide guidance throughout the training.
BMW Group India will host “BMW M After Hours” alongside the academy. This evening event will feature drift demos, food, and live music from The Yellow Diary, Karan Kanchan, and DJ duo Prithvi B2B SMG. It aims to bring together Indian driving enthusiasts.
